Introduction
This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal information provided by all different types of users that sign-up, upload documents, pictures, videos and any other information to the IRMG platform. This platform was created as part of the IRMG project by the member organizations and funding partner (Sida) operating the project in Uganda to support promote campaigns of best practices in risk management and safeguarding.
Confidentiality
We feel strongly about privacy – particularly in confidential matters given that we are the group has been entrusted to support member organizations handle sensitive issues. Personal data acquired through this platform are processed by the IRMG and are treated confidentially. This means that we will not share, sell or disclose any personal information to third parties. All parties involved in the administration of this platform are under the obligation to respect the confidentiality of personal data and have signed a privacy statement that affirms that they have to handle all personal information confidentially.
Signing up in the IRMG Platform
By signing up to the IRMG platform and tick the privacy checkbox, you accept our Privacy Statement and give your consent for collecting, storing and process your personal information in the manners described above and for the purposes for which you have stated a preference.
Your Rights
The IRMG platform uses your data to enable the users a complete experience that fulfils your needs of information in relation to Internal Risk Management (Fraud & Corruption) and Safeguarding (SEAH and Vulnerable Persons). Therefore, the platform allows you to pick between different privacy settings for your posts, uploaded documents, link to your social media account and notifications to your email. You can always get access, without charge, to your data controlled by the IRMG, edited, and export it. If you wish to delete your data, you can request it to the platform’s administrators.

The IRMG platform uses cookies to make the online platform more user friendly. A cookie is a simple small file that is stored on the hard disk of your computer. You can adjust the settings in your browser to notify you as soon as you receive a cookie, or to disable them. However, this might prevent the platform from functioning optimally. The IRMG platform uses basic cookies for user login data and platform preferences.
How do we protect your data?
The IRMG platform has implemented the appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from loss or any form of unlawful processing. Our website is secured using SSL and extra security plugins to guard against spam and other common attacks.
